One of the upper Midwest's finest R&B and blues bands, the Deb Jenkins Band has gained a passionate following from their performances at the annual Fargo Blues Festival and clubs throughout the region.

Tom Pantera, entertainment columnist of The Forum, notes, "One of this area's real artistic treasures has a new CD out -- the Deb Jenkins Band has released a new CD, Down Home Blues. The band is good, but Jenkins' voice -- smooth as good bourbon, even when she's singing sassy blues like "Fight You Like a Man" -- is pure pleasure. Let's hope no bigger market tempts her away." (December 17, 2001)

The Deb Jenkins Band's club and festival performances feature original music and covers by such artists as Joan Armatrading, Koko Taylor, Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Z.Z. Hill, and many others others. Although Deb's powerful vocals anchor the band, all the members shine onstage--keyboardist Mike Jenkins with his signature Hammond C2 organ and piano wizardry, guitarist Ron Meier and his effortless command of the blues in all its moods, and the rhythm section of bassist Jeremy Cahill and drummer Frank McDaniels providing a compelling foundation with an irresistible groove.
